(January 5, 2026) WONTECH Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ: 336570), a laser and energy-based medical solutions company led by CEOs Kim Jong-won and Kim Jung-hyun, has announced its mid- to long-term growth strategy aimed at evolving from a technology-driven manufacturer into a “global brand of choice” in 2026.
As part of its brand transformation, the company has implemented a renewal of its Corporate Identity (CI). The new CI was developed to reflect the company’s expanding business scope and entry into new areas, and will be gradually applied across products, marketing, and communications. Through this initiative, WONTECH aims to strengthen its brand equity and position itself as a brand of choice among customers.
The company has also strengthened its organizational capabilities. In December 2025, WONTECH promoted COO Kim Chang-young, formerly of Samsung Electronics, to Executive Vice President, reinforcing a leadership structure focused on execution. In its U.S. and Japan subsidiaries, executives with extensive experience in the medical device market were appointed as new heads of the entities. Additionally, to intensify its focus on Asia, especially in Southeast Asia, the company assigned a global sales expert from a major corporation to oversee regional operations, enhancing local execution capabilities.
WONTECH also plans to accelerate business expansion. The company is systematically preparing “game-changer” level products and business initiatives expected to serve as the next drivers of growth, aiming to secure long-term momentum. Several new products are scheduled for sequential launch this year, while the company also plans to expand beyond its existing aesthetics and medical device segments into broader healthcare areas, diversifying its business portfolio.
WONTECH is also establishing a system to manage the entire new product development cycle through a standardized launch process. By integrating planning, research and validation, mass production, and market launch into a unified management framework, the company aims to enhance both development speed and product quality while strengthening its portfolio across aesthetics, surgical, and healthcare segments.
Overseas sales will be driven through four key regional subsidiaries— the United States, Southeast Asia (regional headquarters), Japan, and China. Each subsidiary will operate with a clear, focused objective to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency. In particular, WONTECH plans to position these overseas entities not merely as sales outposts but as regional control towers responsible for planning and executing business strategies, enabling faster decision-making and stronger local responsiveness.
The company will also expand collaboration with leading global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). By jointly planning clinical studies, case development, publications, and academic sessions, WONTECH intends to accumulate clinical references while enhancing specific service and support systems for each country. Education and demonstration programs will be standardized to improve consistency and customer experience across global markets, while shifting from one-time sales toward long-term partnership models that integrate products, education, and clinical references.
A WONTECH official stated, “WONTECH has remained focused on technology and execution rather than being swayed by short-term external factors.” The official added, “2026 will be the year we combine technological strength with brand power, organizational capability, and global business capacity to achieve comprehensive competitiveness,” emphasizing the company’s ambition to grow into a global enterprise with both technological excellence and strong brand value.
